Supersonic Flame Spraying Equipment
The main principle of the SX-5000 supersonic flame spraying equipment is that a mixed gas of fuel gas and oxygen is delivered under high pressure to an ignition zone located at the nozzle outlet, where it is ignited.

Introduction to the SX-5000 Supersonic Flame Spraying Equipment
Application scope of supersonic cold spraying
Supersonic Cold Spray is a coating technology that relies on high-speed solid particles impacting a substrate to form a coating. Its key advantages include low-temperature deposition (the coating material remains unmelted), high bonding strength, and minimal thermal damage, making it uniquely valuable in a variety of industrial applications.

To isolate metallic foreign objects, lithium battery material manufacturers apply protective coatings to components of production equipment that come into contact with the materials. The three key properties—wear resistance, high-temperature resistance, and non-metallic nature—make tungsten carbide spraying an ideal choice; consequently, most lithium battery material production processes incorporate extensive tungsten carbide spraying for protection.

The SX-8000 supersonic flame spraying system is a new type of HVOF system. Its basic principle involves atomizing kerosene thoroughly using an atomizing nozzle to produce a combustible mixture, which is then fed into the combustion chamber along with an oxidizer—oxygen. After being ignited by the ignition system, the high-temperature, high-pressure gas is further accelerated and burned through a Laval nozzle, generating a high-temperature, high-pressure supersonic flame jet. Meanwhile, the powder feeding system delivers powder materials from a low-pressure zone into the flame jet, where they are heated and accelerated before being sprayed onto the workpiece surface to form a high-quality coating.
