The SX-9000 supersonic flame spraying system is a new type of HVOF system. Its basic principle involves atomizing kerosene with oxygen to form a combustible mixture, which is then fed into the combustion chamber. After being ignited by the ignition system, the mixture produces a high-temperature, high-pressure flame. This flame is accelerated through a Laval nozzle, forming a supersonic flame jet at high temperature and pressure. A powder feeder delivers the powdered material from a low-pressure zone into the flame jet, where it is heated and accelerated before being sprayed onto the workpiece surface to form a high-quality coating.

The SX-80 plasma spraying equipment manufactured by Guangzhou Sanxin is being used in Xianyang, Shaanxi Province, for spraying zirconia powder onto aerospace components. This equipment features an extended inner-bore gun for plasma spraying.
