(1) HIPOJET-2700-M Supersonic Powder Gun

The HIPOJET-2700-M supersonic powder gun is a robust and versatile thermal spray device/equipment that can be used for spraying a variety of gases. It features reliable and efficient operation and supports both automated and manual spraying methods.

The gun’s design utilizes an internal shaft to deliver powder, and a specially designed water-cooled gas-mixing and combustion chamber is employed to enhance thermal efficiency and ensure particles reach the highest temperature possible, while allowing unrestricted flow rates of both gas and powder. As a result, high-velocity particles form dense, low-oxidation coatings, significantly reducing operational costs. All hose connections are integrated into the gun’s shaft, creating a streamlined and compact device. The gun’s universal design enables rapid maintenance and operation. A wide variety of gun bases are available, compatible with either mechanical fixtures or robotic arms.

The MP-2100 control cabinet is the most important and central component of the HIPOJET powder coating system. It complies with safety standards and is used to precisely control the oxygen flow, gas flow, and air flow for the HIPOJET-2700 spray gun. By connecting the gas supply to the spray gun, it serves as a reliable gas-flow indicator, thereby enhancing the quality of the coating process.

The control cabinet is equipped with three pressure gauges: one for oxygen (0.21 kg/cm²), one for fuel gas (liquefied petroleum gas/propane) at 0.10 kg/cm², and one for air (0–10 kg/cm²). The pressure of each gas can be adjusted via gas regulating valves and air regulators, which are installed respectively on the gas cylinders and the air control unit. The control cabinet also features three flow meters—specifically, an oxygen flow meter, a fuel gas flow meter, and an air flow meter—that measure the gas flow rates in SLPM. These flow rates can be precisely controlled by adjusting the corresponding valves.

Safety features of the control cabinet:

A interlock has been installed in the airflow and gas lines, allowing the pressure switch on top of the control panel to be adjusted according to actual needs. This interlock is designed to ensure the safety of the spray gun and prevents the ignition spray gun from supplying gas before it is actually needed. The flashback arrestor will shut off the oxygen supply when the outlet pressure exceeds the safe operating value.

The NRV prevents any gas flowing in the reverse direction from entering the control panel.

The PF-3350/PF-700 powder feeder operates on the volumetric powder-feeding principle. The slots on the hopper are designed to hold the powder. A rotating wheel delivers the powder to the discharge port, and then a powder-supply air stream transports the powder from the discharge port through the powder-delivery tube to the spray gun.

Gas control device

The air control unit has two filters to remove oil mist and moisture from the compressed air, as well as a pressure regulator to adjust the gas pressure.
