Eco-friendly soundproof spray booth
This soundproofing room engineering system primarily consists of two main parts: the soundproofing room structure itself and its interior finishing. The soundproofing walls around the perimeter are constructed using wall panel modules made from a combination of cold-rolled steel plates and galvanized steel plates, which allows for easy disassembly and installation. All six walls feature double-suspension construction, one set of hinged inspection doors, observation windows, as well as lighting and ventilation systems.

(2) Overall Design Objectives
Function:
This soundproof booth is designed for spraying equipment operation.
Composition & Scale:
The operating noise of the spraying equipment is about 110 dB, dominated by medium-high frequency noise.
According to environmental protection requirements, the noise shall be reduced to below 85 dB.
The system mainly includes:
- Main soundproof booth structure
- Interior finishing
Sound insulation walls adopt cold-rolled steel plate + galvanized steel plate modular panels for easy disassembly and installation.
All six surfaces adopt double-suspension structure, equipped with:
- 1 set of hinged access door
- Observation window
- Lighting & ventilation system

Observation window: ≥ 0.6 m (W) × 0.6 m (H)
Power & Lighting:

Sound Insulation Design
Three innovative technologies adopted:
- Ultra-high energy consumption soundproof wall
- Micro-vacuum laminated soundproof window (MVC)
- Dual-magnetic control “acoustic lock” soundproof door
Sound insulation wall:
Adopts our newly developed ultra-high energy consumption soundproof wall,
thin thickness, high sound reduction index, space-saving.
Total wall thickness: 150 mm.
Equipped with high-performance ladder-shaped sound absorption & energy consumption layer inside to maximize acoustic energy dissipation.
Soundproof window:
Adopts micro-vacuum laminated MVC sound insulation technology:
double vacuum layers with sound absorption layer in between.
Soundproof access door:
Adopts our professionally developed dual-magnetic control soundproof door.
After damping treatment with CC-110 shock absorber,
it effectively suppresses vibration and improves low-frequency sound insulation.
Magnetic sealing strips provide secondary sealing.
Sound Absorption Design
To achieve low indoor noise:
- Sound absorption treatment reduces indoor reverberation
- Reverberation time T60 < 0.2 s

Interior adopts micro-perforated sound absorption structure:
- Micro-perforated galvanized steel panel

- Backed with thick porous ladder-shaped sound absorption material for broadband absorption.
Ventilation & Noise Reduction System
(1) Ventilation Rate Design
Ventilation rate: 40–90 m³/min (based on room area, referring to international standards such as LAC, USA).
Adopts new high-efficiency resistive sound-absorbing structure.
Noise reduction calculation:

- α: sound absorption coefficient of sound-absorbing fins
- C: perimeter of sound-absorbing channel

(2) Lighting Design
Multiple sets of 40W explosion-proof lamps,
in compliance with GB 2887-87 / GB 2887-89 or Client’s process requirements.
(3) Fire Safety Design
Main structures use fire-resistant, sound-insulating, sound-absorbing and damping materials.
Electrical installation complies with fire codes.
(4) Environmental Protection Design
- 100% environmentally friendly materials: non-toxic, odorless, non-radioactive
- Main materials: cold-rolled steel, sound-absorbing cotton, sound insulation board, damping material, perforated galvanized sheet
- Sound-absorbing cotton: Owens Corning non-toxic, non-irritating glass wool
- All steel plates for walls, doors and windows are rust-proof treated
