Using the supersonic flame spraying process, a tungsten carbide coating is applied to enhance the mold surface’s hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Main performance indicators of tungsten carbide coatings
A. Coating hardness: HV1150 or higher.
B. Bonding strength: 68 MPa or higher.
C. Porosity: Less than 1%
D. Oxide content: Less than 3%
E. Operating Environment: Below 250℃, in environments without severe impacts.
F. Service life: More than 6 times that of the heat-treated surface.
Main application scenarios
A. Applications involving significant mechanical wear, such as various mechanical shafts, guide rollers, and conveyor rollers.
B. Corrugated roller and conveyor rollers for the packaging industry; various conveyor rollers for the printing industry
C. Fan impellers, door cores, door rods, valve cores, and valve seats for power plants
D. Various ball valves and valve seats.
