SX-6016 Subsonic Flame (Powder) Spraying System

This is a versatile spraying system suitable for any flame-spraying equipment. It enables highly precise control over various parameters of the flame-spraying process—such as pressure and flow rate. Once the desired gas parameters have been pre-set, the system automatically carries out the entire process—from ignition and operation to powder feeding—according to the programmed sequence. If the pressure of any gas falls below the set value, the system will issue an audible and visual alarm, alerting the operator to adjust or replace that particular gas. The specially designed “built-in agitator-type scraper powder feeder” can handle both powders with conventional particle sizes and ultrafine powders as fine as -300 mesh. Moreover, without increasing the powder-feeding air flow, the system allows for precise adjustment of the powder-feed rate—a feature that is especially critical in gas-flame spraying (since the powder-feeding air flow has a significant impact on the quality of flame spraying).

  ●In any environment where acetylene gas, oxygen, and compressed air are present, it is possible to conveniently and quickly spray various metal, nickel-chromium-chromium carbide, tungsten carbide composite powders, aluminum oxide, and titanium oxide ceramic powders to produce wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and high-temperature oxidation-resistant protective coatings; and to repair mechanical parts that have already suffered wear, corrosion, or improper machining.
  ● The high-energy focused flame spraying system features a gas flow velocity of 370 m/s and particle velocities ranging from 180 to 240 m/s. By selecting different nozzles according to the specific powder being used, it can perform coating operations with dozens of different materials, including various metallic and ceramic powders.
  ● The two-step spray welding process using various metal and ceramic powders, as well as self-fluxing alloy powders, has reached an advanced level within the industry.
  Flame powder thermal spraying can produce economical and reliable surface coatings and has been used in industry for decades. The initial investment cost of flame powder spraying is relatively low, making it an ideal process for entry-level thermal spray coating applications.
